During the Q&A section of EA’s second quarter 2014 financial earnings call, EA’s Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen put recent rumours about TitanFall eventually coming to the PlayStation 4 to rest by stating that TitanFall will be exclusive to Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC “for the life of the title”. No longer in command of the control center, however, the honour of firing those twenty-one guns pointed at the head of the universe falls on the shoulders of 343 Industries, the new task force assigned to future Halo operations. In their first test, have they mastered the Master or wronged the relic ring’s respectability?
It’s finally here! After waiting for so long, there I sat at my PC – I’ll admit, I’m still enough of a nerd that I prepared well for this. My normally cluttered desk had only gotten worse, now filled with soda, snacks, with my favorite pair of slippers on standby since my house gets cold this time of year. I spent a couple agonizing days looking at my computer, where Skyrim sat downloaded but unable to install before the release date, and meanwhile I pestered everyone with that incessant question: “Is it Friday yet?”
