Every year there are tons of awesome games that get released and we always hear about them well in advanced (sometimes a little too far in advance *cough* The Last Guardian *cough*). So, we already know most of the major games that we will be playing this year and this is my personal list of the ones I am most excited for. Turns out it is pretty hard to rank your excitement for games and an awesome trailer or a demo tomorrow could change up the ranking, but as of right now this is where everything stands for me. Beyond Two Souls is a very unique game. Usually when looking at and reviewing a game there is a great deal out there to compare and contrast it with. You have other points of reference to help in your examination of the game and your feelings towards it. You can look at what its competitors have done and how the specific game you are discussing either succeeds or fails against them in shared traits as well as what it does in an attempt to stand out. Beyond Two Souls as a whole stands out Continue Reading
During the Q&A section of EA’s second quarter 2014 financial earnings call, EA’s Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen put recent rumours about TitanFall eventually coming to the PlayStation 4 to rest by stating that TitanFall will be exclusive to Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC “for the life of the title”. Vince Zampella, General Manager of Respawn Entertainment, has tweeted that as far as the TitanFall franchise is concerned the exclusivity deal is tied to “just this release”. Meaning that even though there is no hope for PlayStation fans to get the first TitanFall, TitanFall 2 has the potential to be an entirely different story.
Asura’s Wrath comes to us from the collaboration between CyberConnect2, creators of the .hack and Naruto games, and Capcom. Stepping outside the box and taking chances like CyberConnect2 did can lead to a fresh and interesting experience, but can also lead to a game that just doesn’t work. So, which path did Asura’s Wrath head down?
I was lamenting reviewing Assassins Creed: Revelations even though I had volunteered to do it, in my eagerness to write up a review I hadn’t considered something rather obvious. At this point, you either know if you like the Assassins Creed series or not don’t you? Revelations is the final installment in the story of Ezio Auditore de Firenze, assassin extraordinare, descendant of Altair and ancestor of Desmond Miles. He has been one of the protagonists of Assassins Creed for the last three installments, Assassins Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations, as well as explains what Altair did with his life after the events of Assassins Creed.
Firstly, sorry that the review is late. I have been far too busy killing endless poor pedestrians and rival gang members to a pulp with my extraordinary dildo bat… Yes.. A gigantic dildo bat that will literally knock you off your feet. Saints 3 not only has wacky weaponry, but it doesn’t take itself seriously at all throughout, and there is plenty of fun to be had around Steelport City.
